Branding

ProBeya allows organization admins to customize the visual appearance of the platform to match your company branding. Custom branding requires the Pro plan or higher (plan level 2+).

Logo

Upload your organization's logo to display it in the sidebar and email notifications:

1. Navigate to Settings > Organization > Branding.
2. Click Upload Logo.
3. Select an image file. Supported formats:
   • JPEG (image/jpeg)
   • PNG (image/png)
   • SVG (image/svg+xml)
4. The logo appears in the top-left corner of the sidebar for all organization members.

You can also upload a favicon that appears in browser tabs when your team uses ProBeya. The upload uses presigned S3 URLs to securely transfer files directly to object storage.

Brand Colors

Customize the accent colors used throughout the interface. All color values must be valid 6-digit hex codes (e.g., #2563EB):

To apply colors:

1. Navigate to Settings > Organization > Branding.
2. Enter hex codes or use the color picker for each field.
3. Click Save.

The Preview feature lets you see the computed CSS custom properties before saving, so you can verify your color choices without affecting other users.

Login Page (Enterprise)

Enterprise plan customers can customize the login page:

• Background image -- Upload a full-screen background image (loginBackground asset type).
• Login message -- Set a custom welcome message (up to 500 characters).
• Support contact -- Display a custom support email or help link.

Custom CSS (Enterprise)

Enterprise customers can inject custom CSS to further customize the interface:

• Maximum length: 10,000 characters.
• The CSS is sanitized server-side to reject dangerous patterns including <script> tags, onXxx= event handlers, and javascript: URLs.
• Custom CSS is applied after the default theme and branding color overrides.

warning

Custom CSS can break the UI if not carefully written. Use the Preview feature to validate changes before saving. Only CSS custom properties and safe selectors are recommended.

Email Branding

Customize the appearance of emails sent from ProBeya (notifications, invitations, form confirmations):

• Logo -- Your organization logo is automatically included in email headers.
• Footer text -- Add custom text to the email footer (e.g., company address or legal disclaimer).

Form Branding

When you share forms externally, you can customize their appearance per form or use organization-level defaults:

• Logo -- Displayed at the top of the form.
• Primary color -- Used for buttons and highlights.
• Cover image -- Optional header image.

Permissions

• View branding -- All organization members can view the current branding (needed to render the UI).
• Edit branding -- Only users with the manage_settings permission (org_owner, tenant_admin) can update branding settings.
• All branding updates are scoped to the current organization for multi-tenant isolation.
• Changes are recorded in the Audit Log.

All fields are optional. Omitted fields retain their current values during partial updates.

Plan Gating

Custom branding requires the Pro plan or higher. The router checks the organization's plan level before allowing updates:

Resetting Branding

Click Reset to Defaults to remove all custom branding and return to the standard ProBeya appearance. This sets the branding configuration to null on the organization record.
