Bulk Operations

When you need to update, move, or delete multiple items at once, bulk operations save you from editing items one at a time.

Selecting Multiple Items​

In Table View​

  • Click the checkbox on the left side of any row.
  • Hold Shift and click another checkbox to select all rows in between.
  • Use Cmd+A / Ctrl+A to select all visible items.

In Board View​

  • Hold Cmd / Ctrl and click multiple cards to select them.
  • Hold Shift and click to select a range within a group.

When items are selected, a bulk action bar appears at the bottom of the screen showing the number of selected items and the available actions.

Available Bulk Actions​

Change Field Values​

  1. Select items.
  2. In the bulk action bar, click a field name (Status, Assignee, Priority, etc.).
  3. Choose the new value.
  4. All selected items are updated simultaneously.

Move to Group​

  1. Select items.
  2. Click Move to Group in the bulk action bar.
  3. Select the target group.
  4. All selected items move to the new group.

Move to Board​

  1. Select items.
  2. Click Move to... in the bulk action bar.
  3. Select the target board and group.
  4. Items are moved to the new location.

Duplicate​

  1. Select items.
  2. Click Duplicate in the bulk action bar.
  3. Copies of all selected items are created in the same group.

Archive​

  1. Select items.
  2. Click Archive in the bulk action bar.
  3. All selected items are archived (hidden from views, accessible via archive).

Delete​

  1. Select items.
  2. Click Delete in the bulk action bar.
  3. Confirm the deletion.
  4. All selected items are moved to trash (recoverable for 30 days).

Export​

  1. Select items.
  2. Click Export in the bulk action bar.
  3. Choose the format (CSV or JSON).
  4. Only the selected items are included in the export.

Bulk Edit Limits​

  • You can select up to 500 items at once for bulk operations.
  • Bulk operations run in the background for large selections. You receive a notification when the operation completes.
  • All bulk changes are recorded in the activity feed and audit log.

Undo​

After a bulk operation, an Undo button appears briefly in the bottom-right corner. Click it to reverse the operation. Undo is available for up to 30 seconds after the operation completes.
