Command Palette

The command palette is a universal quick-action interface accessible from anywhere in ProBeya. Open it with Cmd+K (macOS) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux).

Overview

The command palette provides instant access to:

• Navigation — Jump to any workspace, project, board, or item.
• Search — Find items, comments, and descriptions by keyword.
• Actions — Create items, change views, open settings, and more.
• Recent — Quickly return to recently visited pages.

Using the Palette

1. Press Cmd+K / Ctrl+K to open.
2. Start typing to filter results in real time.
3. Use arrow keys to navigate the result list.
4. Press Enter to select a result.
5. Press Escape to close the palette.

Result Categories

Results are grouped into categories:

Recent

Your recently visited boards, items, and projects appear first when the palette opens (before you start typing).

Items

Search across all items in your organization by title. Results show the item title, board name, and status.

Navigation

Type the name of a workspace, project, or board to navigate directly to it.

Actions

Type an action name to execute it:

switch view	Change between Board, Table, Timeline, Calendar
filter	Open the filter panel
sort	Open the sort panel
settings	Open settings
theme	Toggle light/dark theme
notifications	Open notification center
invite	Invite a new team member

Settings

Type "settings" to see a list of all settings pages you can navigate to directly.

Tips

• Type > as the first character to show only actions (no search results).
• Type # as the first character to search by item number.
• Type @ as the first character to search for people.
• Results update as you type — no need to press Enter to search.
• The palette remembers your recent selections and shows them first.
